Rafael Jordão Bussière is a partner of Campos Mello Advogados, with over 15 years’ experience in the real estate practice.
He is also real estate LatAm practice group co-leader at DLA Piper. In the area of real estate, he advises domestic and international companies, with special emphasis on the development of large-scale real estate projects, hospitality, leisure, built to-suit, construction and infrastructure.
Rafael worked on important projects related to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and the revitalisation of Rio de Janeiro’s harbuor area (known as Porto Maravilha), as well as the most relevant hotel projects in Brazil.
Rafael was invited to serve as special adviser to the Secretariat of Governance of the Real Estate Assets of the Union of Brazil’s Ministry of Economy.
Rafael is also director at IBRADIM (the Brazilian Real Estate Law Institute) in Rio de Janeiro and a member of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Brazilian Bar in Rio de Janeiro.
