Miguel Mateo works with clients from the early stages of projects through to implementation and completion. He views his legal advice as a business tool to mitigate risk. He focuses in corporate, commercial, M&A, transactional and regulatory matters. He serves clients primarily in the energy and infrastructure sectors, both in Mexico and in Latin America.Miguel serves clients on a broad range of oil and gas, power (renewable and conventional) and water infrastructure projects.Miguel obtained his law degree from Universidad de las Americas, AC, Mexico City in 2004, his LLM in energy law and policy from the University of Dundee, UK in 2012, and his postgraduate in energy law by the Escuela Libre de Derecho, Mexico City in 2012.He was ranked in the 2015 and 2016 Chambers guide (energy and projects) and in Legal 500.
