Michael Bloom is a litigation associate and a member of the data strategy and security group in Debevoise & Plimpton’s New York office. His practice focuses on assisting companies with incident preparation and response, regulatory compliance and risk management. His recent matters include assisting on responses to corporate data breaches and ransomware incidents, as well as advising on cybersecurity risks during corporate due diligence.
Mr Bloom joined Debevoise in 2019. He received his JD cum laude from St John’s University School of Law in 2019, where he was a senior articles editor of the St John’s Law Review. Mr Bloom received a BA summa cum laude from St John’s University in 2014.
