Lori Kerr is a senior director at Climate Finance Advisors. A banker by profession with two decades of leadership in international development and emerging markets infrastructure investment, Ms Kerr works with private developers, investors and financiers, as well as governments and development finance institutions on low-carbon, climate-resilient investment strategies and designs financial solutions through programmatic approaches (e.g., facilities, funds) and project-level investments, including using blended finance.Previously, she held senior positions at the Inter-American Development Bank Group, including division chief, senior VP adviser and senior investment officer. Ms Kerr is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University in Washington, DC teaching International Project Finance and Investment in the master’s programme. Ms Kerr serves on the advisory board of SunShiftPty Ltd, developer of the world’s first prefabricated, modular and re-deployable solar solution for on-grid and off-grid electricity generation.Ms Kerr holds an international MBAin finance and economics from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Canada along with a Graduate Diploma in Latin American and Caribbean Studies also from York University, and an honours BA in economics and political science from the University of Western Ontario.
