Laura Vengoechea Ballesteros is a senior associate at Posse Herrera Ruiz. She concentrates her practice on dispute resolution.
Laura has more than seven years of experience in domestic and international arbitration. She has participated in international commercial and investment arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID and ICSID Complementary Mechanism regulations, in domestic arbitrations in Chile under the CAM Santiago rules and in domestic arbitrations in Colombia under the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce arbitration rules.
Laura graduated as a lawyer from Los Andes University, and she holds an LLM in international law from Los Andes University and an LLM in international business law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has been admitted to practise in Colombia since 2014.
Laura worked as a foreign lawyer in the international arbitration and dispute resolution practice of Baker Botts, in London, and a foreign lawyer in the dispute resolution practice of Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría, in Santiago de Chile.
Laura is a class teacher of the international commercial litigation and arbitration course at the London School of Economics and Political Science Summer School.
