Juliana de Valdenebro Garrido focuses on complex commercial and investment arbitrations. She has represented international clients before diverse arbitral tribunals, including arbitrations under the rules of most major arbitral institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce, American Arbitration Association, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law rules, and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes. Juliana has also acted as secretary for arbitral tribunals in cases under the rules of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. Juliana received her LLM degree from Harvard Law School, where she received the Dean’s Award for Community Leadership, and where she co-founded the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association. She received her law degree in 2010, from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, DC, where she graduated with the highest honours magna cum laude, first of her class and after having received the Ramón de Zubiría scholarship four times, for having the highest GPA at law school. Juliana attended the first session of the Arbitration Academy in Paris, and acts as ambassador of the same. Juliana is also one of the founding members of Colombian Very Young Arbitration Practitioners.
