José Guilherme Berman is a partner in the areas of Infrastructure, Regulation and Government Affairs and Compliance, Investigations and Sanctioning Law at BMA. He has solid performance in individual and collective disputes involving several areas of public law, such as bidding, electricity, oil and natural gas, price regulation, environmental law, administrative impropriety, anti-corruption law, expropriations, etc. It acts both in the administrative sphere (such as, for example, courts of accounts, CGU and regulatory agencies) and in judicial litigation.PRESENTATIONBefore joining BMA, in addition to working in private law, he also had experience in the public sector, having been a legal advisor to the State Secretariat and the Rio de Janeiro State Water and Sewage Company - CEDAE.José Guilherme is also a professor of Comparative Law at PUC-Rio and was a professor of Constitutional Law at UNESA, as well as the author of books and legal articles published in specialized journals.
