Javier Echeverri focuses his practice on international arbitration, with a particular focus on Latin American parties. Mr Echeverri has been involved in over 20 investment treaty disputes and international commercial arbitrations, conducted in English and Spanish, under the arbitration rules of ICSID, UNCITRAL, the ICC, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and the Quito Chamber of Commerce. He has represented clients’ arbitration proceedings relating to, among other things, engineering and construction contracts, electricity, mining, transport and telecommunications.
Mr Echeverri Díaz is a lecturer on international commercial arbitration at the Law School of HEC Paris.
