Fabio Weinberg Crocco

Fabio Weinberg Crocco is an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell’s finance and restructuring group. His practice focuses on bankruptcy, corporate and sovereign restructuring, special situations and the resolution of related disputes in the United States and abroad. He has significant experience advising clients in matters involving Latin America. Most recently, Fabio served as counsel to the interim government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the government of Belize in connection with sovereign debt restructuring matters. He has also advised BHP Brazil in connection with Samarco’s restructuring. Fabio is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Insolvency Institute’s NextGen Program, vice chair of the International Bar Association’s Reorganisation and Workouts subcommittee and a member of the International Insolvency Institute’s NextGen Leadership Program. Fabio holds JSM and LLM degrees from Stanford Law School, a magister juris degree from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Law School of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. Fabio is a member of the New York and Brazilian Bar associations.
