As global head of Hogan Lovells’ international arbitration practice, Dan dedicates his full-time practice to international commercial litigation and arbitration, representing clients’ interests in the United States, Latin America and Europe. With a focus on construction and infrastructure, as well as energy, financial services, securities and telecommunications, Dan provides deep acumen into industry matters involving commercial, distributorship, technology, engineering, procurement, construction, and design/build contracts, among others. He provides fully bilingual (English and Spanish) counsel in both common and civil law jurisdictions to effectively provide strategy and analysis in achieving favourable results. As lead trial and arbitral counsel in multi-jurisdictional disputes, Dan can try a matter from inception through to judgment or confirmation of the award. Dan is often asked to serve as an arbitrator or international mediator in complex commercial disputes and to serve as speaker on arbitration in emerging markets.
