Clara Moreira Azzoni

Clara Moreira Azzoni is a partner in the firm’s restructuring and insolvency department. She has extensive experience in advising creditors, debtors and investors in judicial and extrajudicial reorganisations, bankruptcy settlements and on issues relating to insolvency. Clara has participated in some of the country’s most important insolvency cases since the entry into effect of Law No. 11,101/05. Clara is a member of the Turnaround Management Association of Brazil and the Bankruptcy Committee of the Lawyers’ Association of the State of São Paulo (AASP). She holds a PhD in civil procedural law from the University of São Paulo (USP), an LLM in civil procedural law from USP and an LLB from the Pontificial Catholic University of São Paulo. Clara is the author of numerous articles and has contributed to many books on the subjects of bankruptcy and restructuring.
