Mr Lepiane is a founding partner of Martínez de Hoz & Rueda.
Mr Lepiane is a transactional lawyer with experience in cross-border and domestic financing transactions in Argentina and Latin America. He has worked on a broad range of corporate and project financings, trade finance, debt restructurings, and other complex corporate matters. He has experience advising leading companies and financial institutions.
In the area of finance he has worked in various financing transactions, granted by local and foreign banks and multilateral credit institutions including IFC, IIC, China EXIMBANK, China Development Bank, AFD and PROPARCO. He has worked and continues working in the financing (through non-recourse project finance, involving ECAs and multilateral organisations) of several wind and solar farms that were awarded PPAs in the context of the RenovAR programme (representing, as the case may be, the borrower or the lenders).
From the rebirth of project finance in Argentina, he has been very active representing both lenders and sponsors in a wide array of transactions, mainly in the renewable energy and hydrocarbons sectors.
Mr Lepiane graduated as a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires, School of Law in 1999. He also attended US and International Law Program at The Center for American and International Law, Dallas, 2002.
