About the Author
Founding partner Gustavo Rodriguez is a lawyer (Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru) with a master’s degree in intellectual property law (Austral University from Buenos Aires) and with additional studies in fashion law (Fashion Law Institute from Fordham University in New York) and strategic intellectual property management. Also, he has participated as a summer scholar at the Coase-Sandor Institute for Law and Economics from the University of Chicago and also in the Media Policy Law Programme from Oxford University. He has extensive experience handling complex cases and designing innovative strategies that resulted in new criteria adopted by the IP agency. Besides being a respected figure in the field, he is also a well-known intellectual property professor, author of several books and speaker at national and international forums. He currently heads the IP Research Center in a private university in Peru and serves as the President of one of the two Ethics Committees of the Self-Regulatory Chamber for Advertising Claims in Peru.
