Amanda Mattingly is a Senior Director at The Arkin Group LLC, an international risk consulting firm specializing in strategic business intelligence and political economic risk analysis. Previously, Ms. Mattingly worked in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs at the U.S. Department of State and the Office of Inter-American Affairs at the National Security Council. Ms. Mattingly is a Security Fellow with the Truman National Security Project and a former Watson Fellow. She has been interviewed on NPR and CBC Canada News and published in CNN Opinion, The World Policy Journal, The National Memo, Talking Points Memo, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Macon Telegraph, and the Inter-American Dialogue’s Latin America Advisor. Ms. Mattingly holds a B.A. from Davidson College and an M.A. in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
