About the Author
Javier is an experienced lawyer, with more than 15 years working in important law firms in Costa Rica and for the Costa Rican government. He formerly had an active role in the Costa Rica Ministry of Foreign Trade and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; he was a trade negotiator and was appointed Consul General of Costa Rica in Singapore and Ambassador of Costa Rica in Qatar. With a master’s degree in law and economics, from Utrecht University (the Netherlands) and a master’s degree in international business law, from Complutense University (Madrid, Spain), Javier is considered one of the top-rated lawyers in Costa Rica.
