About the Author
Ángel has over 13 years of experience in the Tax and Foreign Trade Areas and has solid training and ample experience in both of these types of practice, providing support and counsel to both national and foreign clients. He is a member of the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) and is part of this chamber’s Commission on Taxation, Commission on Customs and Trade Facilitations, and its Commission on Anticorruption. He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and is part of this chamber’s Commission on Taxation and Commission on Customs and Trade Facilitations.
Ángel pays great attention to detail when it comes to looking at the legal and business concerns and needs of each of his clients, which enables him to provide a highly effective and consistent council. During the course of his work he has developed specialised knowledge in the following practices: tax and foreign trade consultancy and planning; litigation in tax and foreign trade; mergers and acquisitions; corporate; trade finance and patrimonial planning for individuals. His expertise in these fields have earned him a nomination for an international tax editorial.
Ángel has a master's in Tax Law (with honours) from the Panamerican University (2009–2010). He also graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho with a law degree (with honours for his student trajectory; highest grade point average of his class) (1999–2004).
