Mrs Hulbert has 25 years of professional practice. She is the founding partner and director of Hulbert Volio Montero Law Firm; and founder and academic director of the Centre for International Studies Jorge Volio J. She has vast experience in national and international law, with special emphasis in dispute resolution and ADR on complex cases.
Specialist in civil and commercial liability, international expert in oral litigation, arbitrator, mediator and international expert in the prevention and investigation of money laundering and financial crime. With more than 100 training courses and conferences in different areas of the law, with special emphasis in domestic and international commercial arbitration.
Professor of international contracts at Lead University and lecturer on: international commercial arbitration; investment arbitration; The IBA Rules, importance and application; multiparty arbitration; corruption, financial crime and money laundering in arbitration; damages collection; women participation in arbitration: the unconscious bias; testaments and probate proceedings; and others, in several countries: Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, Spain, France and the United States.
