Cláudio advises national and foreign investors in corporate transactions, as well as in civil and commercial contracts. He also represents clients in regulatory and enforcement proceedings before several ministries and regulatory agencies, the Brazilian Central Bank, the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission, the Council of Control of Financial Operations, the Appeals Council of the National Financial System and the Federal Audit Court. He has sound experience in government relations, having handled key public policies projects for clients. Additionally, he advises clients in investigations conducted by the National Congress, including in parliamentary inquiry committees.
Cláudio has international experience, having worked as an intern in the director's office of the Division of Enforcement of US Securities and Exchange Commission in 2009. He also worked as a foreign associate for Baker & Daniels LLP and for its government relations firm, B&D Consulting, in 2009.
