Obtained his law degree from Universidad de los Andes (2004) and a master’s in tax management from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2008).
Mr Delpiano has vast experience advising clients on corporate, financial and M&A law with particular expertise in capital markets, asset management and financial instruments. He provides on-going counsel to several stockbrokers and fund managers in Chile and abroad.
Prior to this, he worked as a senior associate at Aninat Schwencke & Cía (2012–2014) and Guerrero & Olivos (2009–2012). Before that, he served as attorney and then chief attorney (legal deputy manager) at Banchile Inversiones.
He teaches taxation of capital markets as part of the master’s in tax law programme at Universidad Diego Portales. Prior to that, he taught taxation of investment funds as part of a graduate programme on venture capital and investment funds at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
