About the Author
Luis Alberto Liñán is a graduate lawyer from the University of Lima, with a master's in Litigation and Dispute Resolution at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas – UPC.
He is an expert in civil, commercial, constitutional, administrative, administrative litigation and in local and international arbitration disputes. Also he has served as an arbitrator.
He provides legal counselling to several companies on judicial, administrative and arbitration proceedings; as well as major to banking and financial entities of the country.
Likewise, he has participated in several due diligences to important national and foreign companies on behalf of mergers, acquisitions, syndicated loans, bond issuers, among others.
He has been professor of civil procedural law at the University of Lima since 1992 to date. Moreover, he has also been a professor at the Academia de la Magistratura, the postgraduate studies of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. In addition to his academic activity, Luis Alberto is speaker at national and international conferences of civil procedural law and is author of several articles on civil procedural law, published in specialised law journals.
Furthermore, he is an active member of the Peruvian Civil Procedural Law Association.
