Luis is a lawyer (University of Lima) and partner at Lazo, De Romaña & Gagliuffi Abogados since 2013, carrying out duties as head of the antitrust, intellectual property, administrative and public procurement units. He was an associate at Lazo, De Romaña y Gagliuffi Abogados between 2008 and 2012, an associate at Grimaldo & Lazo Abogados between 2007 and 2008; a lawyer in the legal department of Andina Radiodifusión SAC (ATV – Channel 9) between 2006 and 2007 and an associate at Estudio Ferrero Abogados between 2004 and 2006.
He is a teacher at the postgraduate programmr at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in Lima; a teacher at the postgraduate programmr at the La Salle University in Arequipa; a teacher at the Legal Training Institute; a teacher at the Lima Bar Association, at the National School of Control of the General Comptroller of the Republic and at the Antitrust School of INDECOPI. He has also been a teacher at the postgraduate school of Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, as well as a speaker and panelist in subjects within his fields of specialisation at various seminars.
He has published several articles regarding subjects within his fields of specialisation.
He is the legal representative of various local and transnational companies in Peru. His fields of specialisation are antitrust law, consumer rights, commercial advertising, intellectual property, administrative lay and public procurement. He has been nominated as one of the most remarkable lawyers in Peru in public law and antitrust law matters in the Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 international rankings.
