Woss leaves Obregon to go solo

Mexican competition and trade specialist Herfried Wöss is leaving Obregón, Quintana y Wöss to found his own law firm, to be called Wöss & Partners. The new firm, says Wöss, will "concentrate on the areas of greatest importance to foreign businesses - corporate law, trade law, competition law, infrastructure and arbitration." Wöss has a solid background in competition law matters in Mexico, having worked in the past on notifications for large German clients in particular.
