Willkie, Guerra González, Clifford Chance and Nader end AHMSA’s 17-year bankruptcy
A Mexican court has lifted a 17-year-long suspension of payment proceeding imposed on Altos Hornos de México (AHMSA), paving the way for it to restructure some US$1.7 billion worth of debt and exit its long-running insolvency, and making the steelmaker the first and last major entity to restructure under Mexico’s old restructuring legislation.
