US$1.1 billion secured for Brazil's first petrochemical project financing
The Brazilian company Rio Polímeros SA has successfully raised US$1.1 billion for the first-ever project financing in Brazil’s petrochemical sector. The go-ahead for the project, which involves building what will be one of the world’s largest polyethylene plants, was announced on February 28.
