Three firms steer US$1.6 billion power sale in Colombia

Baker McKenzie (Colombia) and DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán have helped Colombian energy companies Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) and Consorcio Energía de la Costa, respectively, to acquire local utilities company Electricaribe for a total value of 6.5 trillion pesos (US$1.6 billion).
