Texas Supreme Court poised to allow foreign lawyers to sit local bar exams
The Texas Supreme Court has amended its international law practice rules to allow foreign lawyers licensed in civil law countries to sit the Texas Bar exam, bringing the state closer to the framework adopted by New York, the US market leader for international legal matters.
