Supreme Court thwarts Grupo México’s GAP hostile takeover
White & Case SC has helped Aeropuertos Mexicanos del Pacífico (AMP), the controlling shareholder of Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), obtain a favourable ruling from Mexico’s Supreme Court in its four-year shareholder dispute with railroad and mining company Grupo México, preventing the latter from carrying out a hostile takeover of GAP.
