Squire Sanders and Patton Boggs to merge

Squire Sanders, which has a network of referral firms in Latin America and an office in the Dominican Republic, and US firm Patton Boggs will press ahead with their plans to merge in spite of ongoing complications with the latter’s involvement in Chevron’s Ecuadorean oil spill case.
