Spanish-Singaporean consortium buys Mexican motorway operator

Several Shearman & Sterling LLP offices and Mexican law firms Galicia Abogados and Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enriquez SC have helped a consortium of Spanish toll road company Abertis and Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC buy a majority stake in Mexican motorway operator Red de Carreteras de Occidente (RCO) for over US$1.5 billion.
