Souza, Cescon and Ulhôa, Canto assist in major capital market transaction

Brazilian firm Souza, Cescon Avedissian, Barrieu e Flesch Advogados has assisted Unibanco as lead manager of a consortium of underwriters in the issuance of R$1,300 million (approximately US$531 milion) in debentures by Tele Norte Leste Participações SA (Telemar). The consortium was formed by Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Santander and Itau.
