Soares Bumachar and Pinheiro Neto steer US$5 billion energy bailout

Soares Bumachar Chagas Barros Advogados has advised Brazil’s electricity clearinghouse, CCEE, on a US$5 billion loan agreement with a syndicate of banks, part of a controversial bid by the government to rescue the country’s struggling electricity providers.
