Silva & Cía wins LATAM lawsuit against “cyber-squatter”

Chile’s Silva & Cía has helped LATAM, the airline formed last year from a merger between Chile’s Lan and Brazil’s Tam, win a case before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) against the owner of the latam.es domain name in Spain on the grounds that it was registered it “in bad faith” in order to make a profit from the airline.
