Several firms steer Via Varejo’s 4.5 billion reais follow on

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in São Paulo and New York and Pinheiro Neto Advogados in São Paulo have helped Brazilian home appliance retailer Via Varejo raise 4.5 billion reais (US$845 million) in a follow-on offering.
