Seacrest snaps up Petrobras assets amid divestment dispute

Bermuda-based investor Seacrest has enlisted Mattos Filho in Rio de Janeiro and Guyer & Regules in Montevideo withdraw a line of credit to acquire US$427 million worth of oil assets from Petrobras, amid an ongoing dispute surrounding the state-owned energy group’s divestment programme.
