Santander finances major industrial gases deal

US firm Davis, Polk & Wardwell LLP and Chile’s Morales & Besa have helped Banco Santander Chile provide financing worth US$778 million to US atmospheric and speciality gases producer Air Products and Chemicals for its acquisition of a stake in Indura, Latin America’s largest independent industrial gas company.
