Samarco dam victims to have their day in English court

The English Court of Appeal has ruled in favour of the victims of the Samarco Mineração dam collapse, which killed 19 people and resulted in Brazil’s worst environmental disaster, meaning the previously launched US$6.6 billion lawsuit against multinational BHP can be heard in English courts.
