Relationships and English law key for closer UK-Colombia legal cooperation

Lawyers in Colombia and the UK should work together to diversify bilateral investment and look for opportunities to draft contracts under English law, said panellists at a conference in London this week, where a memorandum of understanding was signed between the British & Colombian Chamber of Commerce (B&CCC), the Law Society of England and Wales and the National Business Association of Colombia (ANDI) to promote closer legal cooperation between the two legal markets.
