Protest-panicked Senate passes anti-corruption law in Brazil

After a wave of protests across Brazil over corruption, the country’s Senate has rushed through a long-delayed bill of law which makes companies liable for corrupt acts – which, if approved by President Dilma Rousseff, should create deep changes in the local business environment.
