Promerica closes acquisition of Ecuador’s Produbanco

Hunton & Williams LLP’s Miami and Atlanta offices have helped Panamanian banking group Promerica buy a controlling stake in Ecuadorean bank Produbanco – the first foreign bank to make an acquisition in the country since new regulations in 2012.
