Philippi and prietocarrizosa to merge with Uría backing

In the first time two major Latin American firms have merged across borders, Chile’s Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner and Colombian counterpart prietocarrizosa are to combine their operations with the support of Uría Menéndez – the first step in a process that could see the inclusion of other Pacific Alliance firms and a full-scale merger with the Spanish firm.
