Peruvian miner secures credit to pay off tax debt

Peruvian miner Compañía de Minas Buenaventura has hired Milbank in New York and García Sayán Abogados in Lima to obtain syndicated letters of guarantee for 2.2 billion soles (US$582 million) to pay off debt owed to the country’s tax authority, SUNAT.
