Peru grants first telecoms submarine cable licence to private operator

Assisted by Berninzon, Loret de Mola & Benavides, Global Crossing has become the first private operator to win an international long distance concession contract in Peru. The deal will enable SAC Peru, GC´s local subsidiary, to provide carrier services through the South American Crossing submarine cable ring.
