OSX refinances debt ahead of bankruptcy filing

OSX, the shipbuilding unit owned by Brazil’s former richest man, Eike Batista, has confirmed it will be following its sister business OGX in filing for bankruptcy protection this week, shortly after reaching an agreement with its creditor banks to refinance US$202 million of debt.
