Oi shareholders settle three-forum jurisdictional dispute

Shareholders in bankrupt Brazilian telecoms company Oi have settled a dispute over who has jurisdiction to decide issues concerning the composition of its board – ending a stalemate from conflicting decisions by a bankruptcy court and an emergency arbitrator that even Brazil’s highest court could not immediately resolve.
