New rules on infrastructure sharing among telecom service providers
On September 5, the Brazilian Telecommunications Regulator, ANATEL, published Resolution 274, which approves the Regulation on Infrastructure Sharing between providers of telecommunication services, the purpose of which is avoiding the duplication of existing infrastructure, optimising its use, and guaranteeing its availability to community-interest telecommunication service providers.
