Multiple firms steer US$950 million Chilean copper mine buy

Several offices of international firms Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, as well as Bofill Escobar Silva Abogados and Bofill Mir Abogados in Santiago, have helped Canada’s Lundin Mining buy a majority stake in the Chilean subsidiary of Japanese counterpart JX Nippon Mining & Metals for US$950 million.
