Mexico on the eve of historic energy reforms

Mexico may now be just weeks away from passing historic legislation opening the country’s energy sector to competition for the first time after receiving approval from upper house - welcomed by lawyers for the lengths it has gone to make the sector an attractive proposition for international oil companies.
