Mexico “at the cutting edge” of sustainability with new climate change law, say lawyers
Earlier this month Mexico’s President Felipe Calderón announced on Twitter that Mexico had become “the first developing country in the world to introduce comprehensive climate change legislation”, and the country’s environmental lawyers say that, despite reluctance from some sectors of industry, it’s news the economy should be welcoming.
