Mexico City allows contract changes at times of emergency

In reaction to the gridlock that Mexico City’s business and institutions experienced during last year’s swine flu outbreak, the city’s legislature has amended its civil code to allow the amendment of contracts drawn up under its governing law in cases of national emergency.
