Mexican enforcer overturns three-to-two cinema block

Mexico’s new competition enforcer, the Federal Commission for Economic Competition (CFCE), has voted unanimously to overturn a ruling by its predecessor blocking the merger of cinema chains Cinemex and Cinemark, rejecting arguments that the three-to-two deal would harm competition.
